Download Every Exploit From Packet Storm
03.28.07 (9:16 pm)   [edit]

I noticed packetstorm puts out monthly zips of all exploits they put out that month. This is a great way to build a database of exploits which would be ready to launch after discovering services.

All exploits for February, 2007 are available here:

Bob Geldof charity site hacked and linked to porn
03.27.07 (9:13 pm)   [edit]
The official charity page on Bob Geldof's internet site was infiltrated by hackers who redirected kind-hearted donors to a pornographic website featuring schoolgirls, informs Starpulse magazine.

Shocked browsers using the donations link on BobGeldof.info were sent to the graphic sex site. Officials have now corrected the link, and hope the incident won't effect the level of funds raised.

An insider says, "We don't know how long the porn was up for. We pray the charity hasn't lost too much money in donations. There are some sick people out there."

Vulnerabilities in USB drivers
03.13.07 (11:24 am)   [edit]

I read an article at eweek.com/article2/0,1895,18401 41,00.asp that compelled me to write a post. Vulnerabilities in USB drivers for Windows could allow an attacker to take control of locked workstations using a specially programmed Universal Serial Bus device.

From the article: "The buffer-overflow flaw is in device drivers that Windows loads whenever USB devices are inserted into computers running Windows 32-bit operating systems, including Windows XP and Windows 2000, said Caleb Sima, chief technology officer and founder of SPI Dynamics."
