Hacking is nothing new, there are literally millions of different techniques you can use to hack a remote PC. If you want to be a good hacker you should know as many as these techniques as you can. This will not only make you good at hacking but also great at defending against hackers, which is the only reason I still keep up with this stuff. Being in the IT field you have to learn about new exploits twice as fast as the hackers in order to prepare your private network for the new attacks.
